Join as an envelope-stuffer and retire as the HR Director.

Maximising people’s life chances – it’s what we do best in housing. And because those who join the sector tend to settle down and stay with us for quite a while, they get training – and lots of it.

We offer a huge variety of opportunities to enhance your existing skills and learn completely new ones. Sometimes a housing association will take it upon themselves to train you in a relevant area. Even better, you could get those qualifications you’ve always wanted by suggesting your own training programme. There’s nothing stopping you from starting with an NVQ Level 1 and ending up with a University Master's Degree. But this isn't to everyone's tastes, so there are plenty of other courses to choose from. Whatever you decide, you’ll be supported all the way, and your wages will help you survive far better than a student loan.

You can never have too much knowledge and there's always something new to learn. That’s why there’s no barrier to promotion in housing.
