Testimonials.
A big hitter making a big difference.
Jason has lived in the Midlands for the last 19 years. Having held senior positions with Birmingham City Council, Tamworth Borough Council and several housing associations, Jason has to lead the creation of many communities where people want to live. He's living proof that it's possible to combine all the challenges of the private sector with making a positive difference to people's lives.
Jason has worked for West Mercia Housing Group since June 2005. And with a career that includes creating national policy with the Chartered Institute of Housing, he was a natural choice to move into a more strategic developmental role as West Mercia's new Director of Development. Here he will continue to drive the Group's ambitious development schedule and search fresh opportunities to provide new affordable homes in the Midlands.
He will also be lead director in the Spectrum Development Partnership, a consortium of ten West Midlands housing associations, which West Mercia Housing Group leads. Their aim is to provide 1,000 new affordable homes in the region and make an even bigger contribution to several communities.
Jason enthuses:
"West Mercia Housing Group already has an £80 million development programme underway but I will be looking to expand that further and seek out new opportunities across the West Midlands region.
"Taking the lead role in the Spectrum Development Partnership demonstrates our commitment to delivering these homes, and co-ordinating with the other members will be central to my new role. There are some very exciting times ahead. I am looking forward to the challenges facing West Mercia and our partners."
