Eid Mela Revellers Renew Friendships.

Thousand of revellers flooded into the Eid Mela festivities in Cannon Hill Park recently. In the spirit of the festival, Friendship Care and Housing used the opportunity to meet many of their residents based in the area.

Despite the sweltering 80F+ heat, people were eager to hear more about the housing and care services Friendship provides together with the range of job opportunities currently available. Families were particularly interested to learn about new housing developments which offer the opportunity to buy homes using a low cost part buy, part rent (shared ownership) purchase scheme.

Victoria Leonard, Customer Relations Manager at Friendship said:

“It was a very busy day for us, thousands of people flooded into the park to enjoy the music, entertainment, food and sport and it was a great way for us to catch up with our residents.”
