Dane gets set for a sizzling summer.

There's no shortage of events to keep residents of Congleton, Cheshire amused over the next few months. The Dane Housing team has organised a packed programme of activities for all ages, from summer tea dances to samba workshops.

Residents can find out how to 'go green' with a whole package of environmentally-friendly events including chances to learn about fair trade shopping and cutting energy bills. There are also plenty of opportunities to get active at family sports days and 'neighhbours days' which promise bouncy castles, BBQs and music.

Children can take part in a production of Alice in Wonderland, while young people might prefer to showcase their talents at a regular music event in a local park. Those who prefer a gentler pace can kick back and relax at one of Dane’s neighbourhood tea parties.

All in all, it looks like it's going to be a fantastic summer for residents of Dane Housing. Let's just hope the sun keeps shining for them.
