Hands across the sea.

Students from across Europe are getting the chance to experience life in the UK whilst gaining some invaluable career skills, courtesy of HomeZone. The students who came through European Training Services, a company specialising in Foreign Exchange programmes, are staying with host families in Staffordshire.

Habi Coulibaly from Paris, Gerardo Sanz-Agero Benavides and Paco Moreno both from Granada and Antonio Garcia from Seville, have been working with various teams within HomeZone. Antonio Garcia, currently studying Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, has been getting some hands-on experience with the HomeZone Repairs Team. Habi has been working with HR, getting involved in the recruitment process and a variety of other HR activities. Gerardo, who is studying Administration and Finance, is working within the Housing Team and is really enjoying his time here.

Paco commented:

"I have been shown great hospitality and I feel my time at HomeZone will stand me in good stead for the future."

Glyn Jones, from HomeZone, said:

"It has been a real boost having the students here, their input and ideas have been great and we have all enjoyed helping each other gain new skills. We only wish our language skills were as good as theirs!"
