When Elgar Housing Association, part of the Festival Housing Group asked their tenants what they thought of them, the answer was an emphatic yes.

They carried out an extensive customer survey of the tenants in Malvern, Worcestershire with over 1,000 people responding. And these residents were more than happy to tell their landlords exactly what they thought about Elgar Housing's services.

Overall 83% of people were satisfied with Elgar's overall service; over 88% who had a repair completed in the last year rated the work as good or very good; 87% found staff helpful and 83% thought the condition of their home was good and 85% thought that Elgar kept them well informed.

There were also high levels of satisfaction with neighbourhoods, although some areas for improvement were highlighted, such as ease of contact for customers, opportunities for involvement and value for money.

Clare Huyton, Director of Elgar said:

"It was a good response to the survey, with 59% of tenants replying, and we are delighted with the results."
