We cannot serve or understand the communities we serve unless we reflect each and every person who lives in them. It's all about appreciating difference - both visible and invisible. Age and race are highly-visible. But for us diversity also means personal values, belief systems and personalities. Housing welcomes people from all areas of the community and every single person has something important to add.

There aren't any barriers to opportunity in social housing and we're always looking for new ways to improve. Perhaps this is why so many women choose a career in the sector. In fact, over two-thirds (68.7%) of people working in housing are women. And there's a good gender balance throughout senior management teams.
